Les Cercles Illusoires is the result of a four-year exploration of collage, oil pastel, acrylic, and screen printing. The series premiered in Paris at Au Cadre d’Or, a renowned artisanal framing studio known for its work with major museums. Born from a transformative period, this body of work reflects a search for meaning through artistic process.

During this time, I underwent five surgeries on my dominant arm, followed by months of rehabilitation. Relearning movement became part of the creative act—art became a space for healing, understanding, and regaining strength.

Visually, the series unfolds as abstract self-portraits: collage and paint interweave to create emotional and internal landscapes. The compositions feature free, fragmented, almost topographic forms. Trees—drawn from my homeland—appear as recurring symbols: rooted, silent, protective. Vibrant colors generate tension, rhythm, and balance, echoing the inner work of reconstruction. There’s no linear narrative—only a layered visual language where every gesture, cut, and mark maps a personal transformation.
