Cadre d’Or, Viaduc des Arts - Paris 28/03-28-04. 2024

Les Cercles Illusoires is the result of a four-year creative journey combining collage, oil pastel, acrylic painting, and screen printing. The series debuted in Paris at Au Cadre d’Or, a renowned framing atelier known for its collaborations with museums and luxury houses. This body of work grew out of a life-altering experience—driven by perseverance and a deep search for meaning through art.

During this time, I underwent five surgeries on my dominant arm—my right arm—followed by extensive physical rehabilitation. Each phase forced me to reconnect with my body, gradually reclaiming the gestures and strength essential to creation. As a right-handed artist, the challenge was not just physical—it was profoundly personal. Art became a way back to myself: a tool for healing, understanding, and transformation. Each piece served as a bridge between my inner world and visual expression—a continuing dialogue with memory and scar.

Through repeated forms, layered textures, and the interplay of color, creation became a practice of reconstruction. The process mattered as much as the result—each act of making an affirmation of life.

Nature played a quiet but essential role in this path. Trees—especially those from my homeland—appeared as recurring figures: grounded, enduring, ever-present. These symbols coexist with self-portraits and imagined landscapes that chart emotional states. Each image maps an intimate terrain of pain, transformation, and strength.
